History: Keeling lists one geared locomotive for the Angelina County Lumber Company, Jasper Division, at Jasper, tram road. [check Ohio &Texas, Frost Johnson, Jasper County Lumber Company, and Alexander Gilmer Lumber Company, all of which were at this plant from 1905 until closed about 1960] The Jasper County Lumber Company, according to Strapac, operated four steam locomotives on its logging tram road. Two of the engines were the former #6 and #7 of the Alexander Gilmer Lumber Company. Keeling noted that two engines: one was geared and the other a rod engine.
