Historicial Development:

The sawmill firm of Hill, Worley & Cone mortgaged in June, 1907, to W Connally Co for $300 a 48-inch by 12-foot boiler. The sawmill firm of Hill, Worley & Cone mortgaged in January, 1908, to Summers Mercantile Co for $4,739, consisting of one compete sawmill, twenty-four oxen, two log wagons, tenant houses and timber, as well as 600,000 feet of lumber.
