Historicial Development: Sitliff & Williamson bought the shingle mill and sawmill plant of Green & Williamson in Cherokee County for $1,000 in 1902. This probably is the same as J. D. Sitliff in Angelina County who owned a sawmill several year later. In October, 1909, J. D. [Setliff] Sitliff mortgaged for $400 to Dilley & Son a planing machine.
