Historicial Development: W. J. Latham was not listed in the edition of Reference Book of the Lumbermen's Credit Association, January 1905 but was listed in the 1907 edition as a manufacturer of yellow pine lumber. He was probably the partner in the Latham & Andrews firm. On September 4, 1907, Latham & Andrews mortgaged to W. Connally Co for $1656 a 11-inch by 16-inch steam engine, a boiler, a sawmill, two saws, an edger, a sawdust rig, and one carriage.
