Historicial Development: The Jacksonville Courier noted in 1947 that J. H. Marsh and his father, R. S. Marsh, had owned and operated a sawmill from 1937 to 1943, prior to J. H. Marsh's ownership of a mill at Chester. He also would later own his own sawmill company at Moscow and purchase the former site of the Thompson-Tucker Lumber Company at Trinity.
