Historicial Development: According to San Augustine county records, J. N. Fonville mortgaged in November 1906 with the Henderson Iron Works for a Henderson #3 sawmill and a Henderson 3-saw gang edger. The taxes were enumerated in the name of Mrs. J. N. Fonville from 1907 to 1909. Presumably the sawmill was located on her land. B. F. Dickerson was mortgaging lumber located at Fonville's sawmill at Rebecca Switch in 1910 to A. Phillips.
