Historicial Development: Bryan Brothers operated a lumber mill and yard in Tenaha in 1891 and 1892. In both 1891 and 1892, the brothers mortgaged their mill cut. They also mortgaged much of their logging equipment to Hicks Brothers lumber company in the fall of 1891. Bryan Brothers probably defaulted on their mortgaged obligations and Hicks Brothers took their sawmill and lumber machinery.
