Historicial Development: The Beach Creek Lumber Company operated at Warren for almost thirty years. The Gulf Coast Lumberman reported in November, 1950, that the mill was selling a 400-horsepower diesel twin power unit. The company contracted for logging for yellow pine. In 1960, the mill produced 4,925,493 board feet of lumber. It was mentioned in the 1975 edition of the Directory of the Forest Products Industry.
