Historicial Development: The C.W. George Manufacturing Company appeared in the January 1905 and 1907 editions of the Reference Book of the Lumbermen's Credit Association as a manufacturer of sash, doors, blinds, and furniture in Beaumont. The company had been at Beaumont since at least 1899. The American Lumberman spelled the company name wrong that year; it was listed as Georgs Manufacturing Company.
